This talk will discuss applications of stewardship science tools to interdisciplinary concepts in Earth, space and materials science. My experiences as a DOE NNSA SSGF fellow and now, as a post-doc, have allowed me to examine problems across diverse fields using techniques and tools developed in the framework of stewardship science. I will discuss how I explore the interiors of extra-solar planets with lasers, search for novel hydrogen storage techniques with diamonds, and explore the surface of Mars with supersonic bullets, as well as the path I’ve taken in between.
