Science v. Story: Narrative Strategies for Science Communicators
Emma Frances Bloomfield, University of Nevada, Las Vegas
Science communication is vital, and scientists have an important place in sharing the excitement, value and implications surrounding their work. Narrative structures can make that process easier and more effective. What does it mean to tell a good science story? Krell's Sarah Webb will lead a conversation with Emma Frances Bloomfield about her new book, Science v. Story: Narrative Strategies for Science Communicators, with practical tips for SSGF and LRGF fellows about building diverse, rich narratives. We'll also participate in a group activity and take questions from fellows.
