Department of Energy laboratory staff — practicum coordinators, scientists and/or human resources professionals — showcase computational science research opportunities during an afternoon career-fair-style event. The two-hour session affords fellows an introduction to lab culture, instruments, and supercomputers; and to the multidisciplinary, team-based science conducted across the country's impressive network of cutting-edge facilities.
In addition to serving as a forum for practicum discussions, the event includes networking and information regarding full-time employment at sites spanning coast to coast.
