DOE NNSA SSGF fellows and alumni were invited to attend the one-day High-Performance Computing (HPC) Workshop, a component of the Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (DOE CSGF) Annual Conference, on Wednesday, July 20.
Also held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott, the workshop's primary goal was to discuss some of the challenges in utilizing HPC for scientific and engineering research, to explore effective methods for addressing the challenges, and to review available software tools. The format consisted of general sessions and a series of breakout discussions.
